The AEG DGE5861HB 6000 Hob2Hood cooker hood is an 80cm integrated canopy hood in black, designed to sit discreetly within a kitchen cabinet while helping remove cooking vapours, grease and odours. Its ExtractionTech Pro motor offers three standard fan speeds plus an intensive setting, with a maximum ducted extraction rate of 700m³/h for periods of heavier cooking.

Hob2Hood technology can wirelessly link the hood to a compatible hob, automatically switching on the lights and adjusting extraction to suit the hob settings. You can also select the fan speed manually using the electronic push-button controls.

The hood can be installed for external ducted extraction or used in recirculation mode. A charcoal filter is included for recirculation, while two removable aluminium mesh grease filters capture grease and can be cleaned in a dishwasher. Filter indicators help remind you when the grease filters need cleaning or the charcoal filter needs attention. Two LED spotlights provide focused illumination over the cooking area.

For best extraction performance, use the recommended duct diameter and keep the ducting route as short and direct as practical. Check the installation dimensions and required clearance above your hob before ordering.
