Recycling Your Old Appliance

When delivering your new appliance we can take the old one away for just £25 and recycle it on your behalf. Simply tick the Recycle box on the product page or in the shopping basket and make sure it’s disconnected and out of position when we get there.

What we'd ask you to do...

We just ask that you make sure you’ve safely disconnected your old appliance before we arrive and make it easy for our drivers to access for loading (built-in/integrated appliances should be disconnected and completely removed from their housing).

Please use a qualified individual where required – please note gas and dual fuel cookers should be disconnected and emptied, if applicable, by Gas Safe Register approved engineers.

Please see our full terms of service.

Benefits of Recycling

Recycling unwanted electrical products is better for the environment. Lead and other toxins contained in electrical goods can cause soil and water contamination. This can have a very harmful effect on the natural habitat, wildlife and also human health. When situated near populated areas these toxins can cause problems to communities as their water and soil is polluted.

Many of the electrical items that we throw away can be repaired or recycled. Recycling items helps to save natural resources and also reduces the environmental and health risks associated with sending waste electrical goods to landfill.
