Great dryer

Pro’s
I’ve only had this dryer for 10 days but so far I’m pleased with its performance. There’s 15 programmes to choose from, as well as the push and go option and several choices as to how dry you want your laundry to be, ie. ready to iron, hanger dry, wardrobe dry and ready to wear. Clothes come out relatively crease free which is great,
The water container is at the top of the dryer which is handy, my previous one was at the bottom and a pain to empty, also the fluff filter is in the front of the dryer and really easy to remove and clean. It’s much quieter than my previous dryer as well. With a capacity of 8kg, it can hold a lot of washing but obviously it’s more efficient if it’s not overloaded.
Cons
The drying times seem to go up and down depending on how the sensors detect moisture in the drier but it does dry well.
The second time I used it, as soon as I switched the power on, the display showed warning lights to clean the fluff filter ( it was clean) also it showed the empty condenser light. After a little research it seems that if it detects any moisture at all, the condenser light appears but it does go off once the dryer is running, similarly, the fluff filter light is a reminder to keep it fluff free. So long as the lights go off once the dryer is running, it’s absolutely fine.
The water tank had a little water in it when I inspected it before I first used it, I checked with the retailer and was reassured when they said it’s residual water left after factory checks. The water tank is a bit of a pain as no matter how hard you try, you can’t get the last bit of water out.
The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the lack of a decent reverse spin action. Yes, the dryer does pause, reverses its spin direction and then repeats every so often but it’s not a”true “ reverse spin. I dried bedding today and twice the sensors thought the load was dry but it was tangled in one big ball and the outside of it was dry. I had to separate and shake everything and restart the dryer. The duvet cover got very creased because of the tangling which didn’t happen in my old dryer.
Overall, I’m very pleased with my dryer. Yes, there’s a few niggles but that’s mostly just the differences in my old and new dryers. It’s efficient and the price was reasonable. If it lasts as long as my old one (25 years ), I’ll be very happy.
