Cata UBSCG70BK - Black 70cm Curved Glass Cooker Hood

The Cata UBSCG70BK is a 70cm curved glass chimney cooker hood in a black finish, designed to sit above wider hobs and help remove cooking vapour, grease and odours. Its curved glass canopy gives the hood a distinctive profile, while the black-painted chimney and housing create a coordinated look in a contemporary kitchen.

The hood provides an extraction rate of up to 308.3m³/h and has three fan speeds, allowing you to select the level of ventilation to suit the cooking taking place. Simple push-button controls make it straightforward to change the fan setting, and the integrated 1.5W LED light illuminates the hob surface while you prepare food.

For everyday maintenance, the hood is fitted with removable aluminium grease filters that help capture airborne grease. It can be installed for external extraction using a 150mm duct outlet, or in recirculation mode with the compatible SCF2 charcoal filters (not supplied). In recirculation mode, air is filtered and returned to the kitchen rather than ducted outside.

The two-piece chimney section is height-adjustable to suit the installation space. The hood has a maximum noise level of 64dB(A), a B energy rating and a maximum connected load of 66.5W. It is supplied with a power cable but no fitted plug and requires a 3A electrical connection. Check the required clearance above your hob and have the appliance installed in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
