Caple PLASDD523BK 52cm Modular Flip Downdraft Extractor - A++

The Caple PLASDD523BK is a 52cm black-glass modular flip downdraft extractor designed to sit between compatible modular hobs. It draws cooking vapour down from the worktop area and can help create a streamlined cooking zone without a conventional overhead hood. Its motor is included, and touch controls provide access to four speeds.

The extractor includes an automatic timer that switches it off after 10 minutes, aluminium grease filters and a 150mm ducting connection. It can be used with gas hobs and supports ducted extraction or recirculation when the correct kit is fitted. The integrated PlasmaMade filter with ESD is designed for recirculation and helps reduce cooking odours and airborne particles. Caple states a maximum extraction figure of 1000m³/h for the plasma filter system; this should not be confused with a separately rated hood extraction figure.
