The Caple PLASDD522BK is a 52cm modular flip downdraft extractor with black glass and stainless-steel detailing, designed to sit between compatible modular hobs. The extractor rises when required and helps keep the worktop visually clear when not in use.

Illuminated touch controls provide access to four speeds and an automatic timer that switches the unit off after 10 minutes. Aluminium grease filters capture cooking grease, while perimetrical extraction draws air from both sides to support installation between modular hobs. The supplied Plasma filter with ESD is designed for recirculation and helps reduce cooking odours and airborne particles. Caple states a maximum extraction figure of 1000m³/h for the Plasma filter system; this is a filter-system specification, not a confirmed hood extraction rate.
