Caple C768G - Stainless steel 5 Zone Gas Hob

The Caple C768G is a 75cm stainless steel gas hob that gives you generous cooking space and flexible heat control across five burners. Its combination of high-output and lower-power burners makes it suitable for everything from quickly boiling large pans to gently simmering sauces.

Five-burner layout: The hob provides five burners in different sizes, so you can choose a heat source to suit the pan and the type of cooking. Having five cooking positions also gives you more flexibility when preparing several dishes at the same time.

3.3kW triple-ring burner: The triple-ring design distributes heat across the base of suitable pans and delivers the hob's highest burner output. It is useful when you need intense heat for tasks such as boiling or stir-frying.

3kW rapid burner: The rapid burner provides a strong, concentrated heat output for larger pans and faster cooking. It is a practical option when bringing water to the boil or cooking at a higher temperature.

Two 1.75kW semi-rapid burners: These medium-output burners offer versatile heat for everyday cooking with standard-sized saucepans and frying pans. They provide useful additional cooking positions alongside the larger burners.

1kW simmer burner: The lower-output burner is designed for gentler heat when simmering sauces, keeping food warm or cooking dishes that need a more controlled flame. It helps reduce the need to use a larger burner at a very low setting.

Cast iron pan supports: Heavy-duty cast iron supports provide a sturdy, stable platform for your cookware above the burners. Their separate-pan-support design also makes it easier to position and move pans across the hob.

Automatic electronic ignition: The integrated ignition lights the burner through the control knob, so there is no need for a separate lighter or match. Turn and operate the control to ignite the selected burner.

Flame failure safety device: This safety system monitors the burner flame and is designed to shut off the gas supply if the flame is accidentally extinguished. It provides an additional safeguard during everyday use.

LPG conversion: LPG jets are supplied for conversion where required, making the hob suitable for an appropriate LPG installation as well as its specified gas setup. Conversion and connection should be carried out by a qualified gas installer.

Stainless steel finish: The stainless steel surface gives the hob a clean, practical appearance that works with a wide range of kitchen styles. The 75cm format provides generous cooking space while maintaining a low-profile design.
