Great washing machine and so much quieter than my last one!

As washing machines go it is an elegant looking machine, not having the ugly black door surround which seems to be quite common and why I didn't replace my old LG machine with a new LG one. So far I've used it twice and it seems to be very good - runs quietly without vibrating much and washes and spins well. The Eco wash says it will take 3hr 47mins when it starts but then actually completes in much less time (something like 2.5 hrs). I think it depends on the load size. It says it is much quicker if the "speed perfect" setting is used (available for a couple pogrammes) but that halves the maximum load.

This thing is fantastic on every level. And its so quiet with the direct drive. Wash programs are good too albeit some quite long, but that's how they achieve the eco level. You can always press speed perfect and it halfs the time. Overall very impressive.

Our machine turned up as planned on the 29th November. After unpacking and following the installation and first wash instructions, the machine came up with Error code E30-20 which meant water supply, drainage or solenoid valve fault. Having sat on the phone for some while to Bosch we were told an engineer would need to visit - but first appointment is 10 days later. So we still await this visit and hence 10 days with no washing machine. We then tried via AW to get a replacement earlier or some compensation but alas to no avail. AW referred us back to Bosch helpline. Not very helpful!
