AEG HKB75450NB - 5 Zone Gas Hob

The AEG HKB75450NB 8000 Series FlameLight gas hob combines a sleek black glass surface with five gas burners and precise, easy-to-read controls. At 74cm wide, it provides cooking space for everyday meals as well as larger pans, while its frameless design creates a clean, contemporary look in the kitchen.

FlameLight LED indicators make gas control easier to read at a glance. The red LED display shows the selected flame level and indicates whether a control knob is switched on. It also provides a visual indication when the pan supports may still be hot after cooking, helping you check the hob before cleaning or touching the cooking area.

StepPower control lets you select from nine defined flame levels, helping you repeat cooking settings more consistently instead of relying on an imprecise dial position. For high-heat cooking, the central 3.9kW wok burner accommodates suitable larger cookware, while four additional burners offer different power levels for simmering, boiling and everyday pan cooking.

Hob2Hood connectivity can automatically activate and adjust a compatible AEG cooker hood as you cook, reducing the need to operate the hood separately. The built-in Minute Minder helps you keep track of cooking time, while cast iron pan supports with silicone feet provide a stable base for cookware.

The gas-on-glass design has a smooth black surface that can be wiped clean once the hob has cooled. For added safety, the thermocouple flame-failure protection cuts off the gas supply if a burner flame goes out unexpectedly. The hob is supplied with a UK moulded plug and can be converted for LPG using the specified additional injectors; conversion and installation should be carried out by a suitably qualified professional.
