Preparing for a successful delivery

You will receive a text message the night before the scheduled delivery with a delivery window. On the day of delivery you will receive a text or call to let you know the driver is on their way.

Failed deliveries

A £39.99 failed delivery charge applies for failed deliveries once the appliance has been loaded onto the delivery vehicle. Please do not select a delivery day if you are not available for the whole of that day as text messages are only sent once our vehicles are loaded.

Changing delivery times

If you need to change your delivery date please contact us on 0161 794 3030 as soon as possible. 

 

Delivery checklist

Here are key factors that might affect your delivery. If you're concerned about any of these, please contact us for guidance:

Delivery is up to 3 steps into a ground floor room of choice unless you have chosen two-person delivery as an option. Please call 0161 794 3030 if you need to add this option. If you have more than 3 steps you must choose the 2 man delivery option to prevent a failed delivery charge

Large Items: Items like range cookers and American fridge freezers need wider access, typically double doors, for delivery. Please make as much room as possible for our drivers.

Parking Restrictions: Are there yellow lines or parking restrictions near your property that we must be aware of?

Location Accessibility: If your property is hard to locate, like down a narrow lane or a new build not on a sat nav then inform us so we can let the driver know.

Appliance Removal: If you have requested appliance removal, then we ask that the item is disconnected and pulled out before our delivery team arrive unless you've paid for an installation or disconnection service separately from us. 

Reporting damaged items: On rare occasions an item may arrive damaged or faulty due to transit. Please do not install these items. Instead, contact us within 48 hours with a photo of the damage and we'll promptly arrange a replacement. For faults, we'll need a manufacturer's engineer to inspect and decide on a repair or replacement. The manufacturer will then arrange any necessary work as per their warranty.

Returns: You are entitled to cancel your contract if you so wish, providing that you exercise your right no longer than 14 days after the day on which you receive the goods. Your right to return products does not apply to goods made to your specification that have been clearly personalised such as a door change or items made bespoke.

If you wish to exercise your right of cancellation, you are obliged to retain possession of the goods and take reasonable care of them, any business to business transaction is excluded from the cancellation and returns terms.A collection fee for the cost of returning the goods will apply. The fee will vary based on the size of the appliance:

  • American fridge freezers or French style fridge freezers £130.
  • Range cookers £130.
  • Fridge freezers £85.
  • Washing machines tumble dryers, dishwashers, standard size cookers etc. £75.
