To use your AEG oven effectively, follow these general steps:
  1. Initial Setup: Before first use, remove all accessories and clean the oven. Preheat the empty oven to 250°C for about an hour to eliminate any manufacturing residues.
  2. Setting the Clock: Press the control knob to activate it, then adjust the time of day by pressing until it flashes, and use the plus and minus buttons to set the correct time.
  3. Choosing Cooking Functions: Select your desired cooking function using the oven function knob. Common functions include:
    • Conventional Cooking (top and bottom heat)
    • True Fan Cooking (for even cooking on multiple levels)
    • Steam Bake (for baking with steam for better texture)
  4. Adjusting Temperature: Set the temperature using the temperature knob.
  5. Using Timers: You can set a timer for cooking duration or end time by pressing the relevant button until it flashes, then adjusting with the plus and minus buttons.
  6. Monitoring Cooking: Keep an eye on your food as it cooks. Some models allow remote monitoring through a smartphone app.
  7. Cleaning: After cooking, utilize the Pyrolytic cleaning feature if available, which burns off food residues for easy clean-up.
